Arabic Social Media Manager

A long standing client of Irwin & Dow is now seeking an Arabic Social Media Professional. This is an extremely high profile client and as such those with excellent bilingual skills and attention to detail will be required. Based in Dubai, our client develops the humanitarian, education, sport and youth and culture activities within the UAE, Middle East region and on a global scale. Therefore this role is an excellent platform to develop and implement social media strategies to be viewed worldwide.

The role of Social Media Manager requires candidates with a strong social media background as duties will involve ensuring consistency with branding, images and content across all media platforms in both Arabic and English with 100% accuracy at all times. You will be part of the development team to deliver the annual strategy and must be able to bring new ideas to the fore to encourage all sectors of the global community to be engaged and involved in the ongoing agendas of our VVIP client.

Alongside the management and development of the social media platform across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter you will be responsible for all press releases including research, inception, proof reading, obtaining final approval and final copy. You will also work alongside the PR agency to assist the team with image and brand continuity and to also ensure that images used are approved and filed accurately. This role will also encompass the use of all analytical tools including SEO and google analytics to develop a deep understanding of how to influence social media in a local, regional and global arena.

This role requires candidates to be proactive, forward thinking and creative to ensure they are up to the minute with technological advances and social media trends. As this is one of our most prestigious clients candidates should also possess complete confidentiality and a high level of accuracy at all times.

Those wishing to apply for this role should hold a relevant Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a social media role and at least 2 in a managerial capacity. You should be committed, passionate and enthusiastic and it is expected that candidates are bilingual with a native proficiency in all formats of the English and Arabic languages.
