Arabic Speaking Finance & Administration Manager - Manufacturing (Abu Dhabi)

Our client, a multinational manufacturing organization dealing in Chemicals, is looking to recruit an Arabic Speaking Finance & Administration Manager for their office based in Abu Dhabi.

You will be reporting to the CEO and General Manager.

GOAL FUNCTION.
• Ensures a smooth functioning of CFA Department (Controlling, Finance, Administration) in MEA region
• Implementation and maintenance of standards of Group policies in regard of all activities and affairs of CFA (Controlling, Finance, Administration)
• Supports General Manager of manufacturing plant in all finance / admin related matters

JOB ROLE

Accounting, Finance, Controlling:
• All related accounting affairs
• Implementation of IFRS as per guideline given and Group reporting
• Implement and perform controlling and business finance
• Supports business and Group functions with financial analysis, interpretations and recommendations
• Audit (statutory and Group audit)
• Daily cash management
• Finance (treasury) in close co operation with the Group CFO

Tax, Legal and Insurances:
• Ensures proper tax reporting (indirect taxation)
• Transfer pricing
• Coordination for all legal affairs in close cooperation with respective Group function
• Coordination for all insurances in close cooperation with respective Group function

Human Resources:
• Administration (e.g. hiring process, filing, visa administration etc.)
• Payroll
• Social security & medical insurance

Administration:
• Responsible for all admin tasks for the Middle East entity in close co operation with line management

Requirements

• University or professional education degree or equivalent
• Knowledge of finance / accounting (UAE, IFRS) / controlling
• Knowledge of local governmental requirements
• Min. 5 years’ experience in financial management

KEY COMPETENCIES:
• Strong drive with a hands-on, structured, accurate and result oriented working style. Eager to learn and develop yourself and other people; hands on person being able to demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative
• Solid experience (more than 5 years in financial accounting and IFRS and some years of working in an international environment, preferably in chemical industry but in any case in manufacturing) and profound education
• Expert knowledge of accounting, financial principles & Controlling
• Problem analysis and problem-solving
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work in a Team orientated international environment and able to deal with divers stakeholders
• Ability to make decisions and take initiative in the absence of perfect information.
• Ability to build trust and gain support of personnel across organization.
• Ability to monitor and manage the performance and development of finance staff.
• Knowledge of relevant computer applications (ERP, Microsoft Office)
• Fluent in English and Arabic (oral and written).
