On behalf of our client, a full service international consulting engineering firm, we are looking to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer for their office based in Abu Dhabi.
You will be responsible for preparation of design calculations, sketches, drafting, final drawings and material selection, site supervision and project management.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Mechanical engineering and must hold at least 10 years’ experience, most recently within a UAE based consultancy. If you don’t have consultancy experience you will not be called by the recruiter.
You will possess strong communication and presentation skills; demonstrate proven time management and people management capabilities and have superior problem solving and analytical skill.
You must also be handling the design stages of mechanical works for HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting and Pipework, this is not a review of designs position, so you must have recent hands on experience.
