Job description / Role
• Planning and implementing age-appropriate Arabic language lessons, incorporating various teaching methods and resources to make learning fun and effective for toddlers and preschoolers.
• Focusing on developing children's listening, speaking, reading, and early writing skills in Arabic, while also supporting their overall cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Creating a positive and safe learning environment, managing classroom activities, and maintaining order to facilitate effective learning.
• Assessment and Reporting:
• Monitoring student progress, assessing their language skills, and providing regular feedback to parents and the nursery management about each child's development. Working closely with other nursery staff, including English-speaking teachers, to integrate Arabic language learning into daily activities and ensure a smooth transition between languages if the nursery is bilingual.
• Parental Engagement:
• Keeping parents informed about their child's progress in Arabic, providing guidance on how to support language learning at home, and participating in parent-teacher meetings.
• Staying updated on best practices in early childhood education and Arabic language teaching through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
• Excellent written and spoken Arabic language skills are essential.
• Prior experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, or similar early childhood education frameworks, is often required.
• Educational Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field is often required, along with relevant teaching qualifications like CACHE Level 3.
• Patience and Creativity:
• Nursery teachers need to be patient, creative, and adaptable to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of young children.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are crucial for effective collaboration with colleagues and parents.
Salary:
AED
11,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
