The EY Visa Team in the Dubai office are responsible for the visa processing of over 1200 employees in Dubai along with their dependants. The team are also responsible for inbound and outbound business visas for Dubai employees/for employees from EY’s offices around the globe. The team work very closely with members of EY's client facing Business Immigration and Human Capital teams who help companies address the challenges associated with managing today's globally mobile workforce. This ensures knowledge sharing and enables us to give both our clients and our employees exceptional service and less stressful, low risk visa processing and cross border travel.

We are currently seeking an exceptionally organised professional to provide Arabic typing and administrative support to our EY Dubai Visa Team.

Summary of Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Visa Team Manager, the Associate’s primary role is undertake all Arabic typing of applications for work, business and dependent visas and any supporting Arabic letters that are required.

We are looking for an individual with the following experience and knowledge:
- Experience of working as an Arabic typist either in-house or in a typing shop. Must have experience of using E-Vision.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills.

Responsibilities
- E- Typing government forms plus other typing as required
- Check the status of applications and update team as required
- As required, assist the HR/Onboarding team and EY employees with immigration queries
- Update the team if there are any changes at the Ministry of Labour (MOHRE) or Immigration (GDRFA)
- Administrative and Immigration tasks as requested from the EY Visa team
- Data entry into EY’s Business Immigration Tracker as required
- If required visit government authorities on behalf of EY employees and clients
- Effective and clear communication and development of strong working relationships with members of the Visa team, the client facing HC and Immigration teams and members of other EY service lines, geographies and support functions.
- Research and liaison with government authorities and development and maintenance of strong working relationships with contacts in the different jurisdictions and free zones within the UAE
- Assist with compiling metrics/reports as required
- Run reports from our on-line portals in order to support cash reconciliations and top-ups
- Plan and proactively manage workload ensuring that urgent work is prioritised, deadlines are met and work is technically accurate, clear, concise and error free
- Liaise with colleagues and managers to proactively escalate problems and potential issues
- Contribute to performance feedback for all levels of staff
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
- Take advantage of the available education and learning experiences to ensure that personal and technical skills are developed on an ongoing basis

Requirements

- Fluent in written and spoken Arabic
- 1-2 years’ experience as an Arabic typist either in house or with a typing shop
- Excellent knowledge of Labour (MOHRE) and Immigration (GDRFA) requirements
- Confidentiality and Integrity essential as this role requires dealing with employees’ personal documentation
- Must be proactive, highly organized, have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally and to manage own workload
- Excellent English language skills, written and verbal
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- UAE immigration experience essential
