Job description / Role
Objective: Candidate will be responsible for all phases of Architectural work including planning, designing and overseeing the construction for all new building designs, extensions,alterations, restorations etc.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Take charge and control the project from start to completion ensuring high quality, innovative and functional design.
• Take the “brief” to identify clients’ needs, feasibility reports and design proposals.
• Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact.
• Produce detailed blueprints,make any necessary corrections and compile project specifications.
• Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations.
• Make on site visits to check on project status and report on project.
• Cooperate and liaise with construction professionals, follow architectural trends and advancements.
• Preparing all documents to submit to Authorities.
• Making design and taking into consideration the client budget and timelines.
• Responsible to obtain Building Permit, knowledge to work with govt authorities.
• Liaison with authority like Municipality, aware of regulations, Municipality online system.
• Submitting different types of submission , as required.
• Technical discussions & meetings with both Municipality engineers & heads of departments.
Requirements
• BS in Architectural Engineering
• Experience of 8- 10 years experience as an Architect with minimum 5 yrs of drafting experience with AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
• Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, rules and regulations
• Knowledge of Adobe photoshop, Indesign,Sketch up and 3D Studio Max will be an advantage
• Arabic speaker with valid UAE Driving licence will be preferred

The Dulsco story began in 1935 when Mohammed Khan Abdulla Mirza Abdulla, the father of the present Chairman of Dulsco, Abdul Aziz Mohammed Khan Abdulla, appointed some able-bodied men to row their dhows through the Dubai Creek to a British India Steam Navigation Company owned ship at anchor in the Arabian Gulf, and bring ashore its cargo of foodstuff and clothing. Our stevedoring service launched then is still one of the many services that we provide. We consider ourselves the oldest stevedoring company in Dubai.
By the 1970s and the opening of Port Rashid in Dubai, we were a full-fledged stevedoring company serving the port. We started providing more manpower services by the 80s and became one of the earliest human resource management companies in Dubai.
In the 90s we began providing manpower outsourcing services and later we added waste management and other services to our portfolio.
