Architect (Facilities) - Metro Rail

Parsons is the Project Consultant for the construction supervision of a large prestigious infrastructure project in Dubai, UAE. The Work scope comprises rail, elevated viaducts, underground tunneling, roads, highway intersections, bridges and other structures, electrical (HV and LV), potable water, sewerage (foul water) drainage, storm water drainage networks and other utility / services networks.

Responsibilities:
• Checking of design drawings
• Answering construction queries
• Review and approval of Architectural shop drawings

Requirements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a reputed institute
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design and construction support of large infrastructure / transportation projects
• Metro rail experience including depots (min 5 years)
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English language
• Experience in reviewing the Architectural shop drawings
• Contract administration experience

Desirable:
• Working knowledge of Revit Architecture in 3D Modelling,
• Drawings preparation and BOQ extraction with high proficiency is desirable
• Understanding of developing coordinated designs and models with Civil, Structures and MEP using BIM features of Revit
• Experience at Construction site using BIM – Revit software Knowledge of 3D Max, Sketch Up, Photoshop
