Job description / Role
International Design studio seek Job Captain – Architect to join their Dubai studio to run projects under the supervision of the Lead or Senior Architect, enforcing the implementation of operational standards and ensuring the Architects under your direction understand and adhere to these standards.
• Assist the Lead Architect or Senior Engineer in preparation of schematic design and design development drawings. Assist the Lead Architect or Senior Engineer in schematic code conformance.
• Oversee all technical documentation and authority submission documentation.
• Coordinate MEP, Structural and other Sub-Contractors information. Ensure construction drawings are fully coordinated with sub-consultants prior to submission.
• Assist the Lead Architect or Senior Engineer in assigning resources for construction documentation production and project scheduling.
• Ensure to have a constant communication with assigned project teams. Written and telephone correspondence is essential to addressed or answer queries.
• Ensure constant liaison with the Sub-consultants, Contractor, Supplier, Manufacturer and Statutory Authority.
Requirements
• Bachelor of Architecture with 5-10 years post graduation experience, ideally the last 5 in Dubai/UAE working on largescale commercial projects.
• Employment history will show committed permanent work history.
• Excellent technical and construction knowledge, understanding of DM regulations and ability to run teams under fast track project conditions.
• Revit expert required.
