Architectural Design Coordinator

Job description / Role

We are hiring an Architectural Design Coordinator for a leading Main Contracting Company in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating architectural design activities across various building projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage architectural design deliverables in collaboration with consultants and internal teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Work closely with the construction team to resolve design-related issues during execution.
• Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings and materials.
• Support BIM implementation and maintain design documentation as per project standards.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers regarding design and detailing matters.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural design coordination.
• At least 2 years of experience with a Tier 1 Main Contractor in the GCC region.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit/Navisworks preferred), and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and design coordination workflows.
• Based in the UAE and available for immediate or short-notice joining.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
