Architectural / Door Hardware Specialist - AHC Accreditation

Job description / Role

• Writing and scheduling Door Hardware Specification for all the doors of the project. The majority of doors have sophisticated safety and security functions
• Extensive interaction with the client to study and review door operation and security requirements
• Review door hardware submittals, shop drawings, keying and master key requirements
• Co-ordinate electrified hardware including fire alarm systems and security access control systems
• Vendor audit and factory test visits
• Acting Engineering Manager - monitoring of in house progress of engineering submittals and shop drawings review process

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Architecture
• Minimum 12 years experience in a similar line with a design consultant
• Must have significant experience on doors with complex security systems
• Should be well versed in NFPA, UAE and European Standards
