Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To achieve agreed sales targets and manage client relationships and portfolios for a specified geographical area and/or business/product in order to meet the strategic goals of the bank.

Service Objectives:
- Need to manage a team of sales people in Merchant Services. Needs to have at least 5 – 6 years of experience in Merchant Sales or 8 – 10 years of sales experience in another Industry (Hotel sales / Banking / B2B). This candidate needs to be proficient in MS Office products and be very comfortable in presenting at senior levels.
- Needs to have team leader experience of atleast 4 – 5 years. Very proficient in selling Merchant Services tools and services including DCC, Online, Contactless and other POS related services such as Kiosk, integrated POS solutions etc.
- Responsible for activation of new on-boarded accounts and achieving matured volume targets. There will also be a NPS target for him and his team.
- Manage a Business development team in Merchant Services.
- Needs to have at least 5 – 6 years of experience in Merchant services with at least 2 – 3 years of team management experience.
- Needs to be proficient in MS Office products and be very comfortable in presenting at senior levels within his portfolio of accounts.
- The core responsibilities of this person would be in guiding his team in creating account plans for their portfolio. Selling Merchant tools and services including DCC, Online, Contactless etc.

Requirements

Revenue Generation:
- Manage and monitor revenue generation through sale of various financial services of the bank in order to achieve agreed financial targets and maximise revenue generation

People Management:
- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance
- Organise and supervise the activities and work of the team to ensure that targets and objectives are achieved and the business plan is delivered in line with the required policies, processes, procedures and systems

Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain internal stakeholders/external agencies and client relationships to achieve desired objectives of the bank.
- Portfolio Management Monitor and control customer portfolios to achieve desired revenue through cross sell, upsell and retention.

Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures:
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders.

Customer Service:
- Demonstrate our promise and apply the ADCB service standards to deliver the banks required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.

Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in consumer banking and in a managerial role

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales or Finance or relevant specialisation

Knowledge and Skills:
- In depth knowledge of global financial markets and trends Understanding of consumer banking products and services
