Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Client is a specialist in personal care and cosmetics is looking for an Area Sales Manager to handle the GCC operations. Main responsibilities include defining wholesale channels targets and support Distributor Brand Managers for the achievement of budget goals; select potential distribution partners (in line with company’s positioning and area characteristics) and help his/her team in the negotiating of the best economic and image terms.

- Evaluate the needs for the area and draft/propose sales forecasts in line with company annual objectives in order to contribute to definition of the company’s sales plan and sales budget
- Analyse, identify the retail channels and new opportunities per market and ensure the implementation of agreements in line with the company’s positioning strategies as well as selling capacity and profits expected by the company
- Pursue the budget objectives defined for the related network
- Optimize, develop, expand and streamline the wholesale channel in line with the company’s distribution strategies (and distribution identity)

Requirements

Ensure that distribution partners:
- Provide an adequate level of service
- Respect for the merchandising policies and corporate identity agreements
- Best in class execution

- Support distribution parts with suggestions on specific development initiatives in order to ensure the achievement of defined commercial objectives
- Coordinate with marketing team, retailers and brand managers in the organization
- Implementation trade plans and new launches
- Monitor the activities of the competition on the relevant territory
- Coordinate with sales supervisors of distributors and develop the performance of sales personnel (BC/Make up artist)
- Continuously plan, manage and evaluate the activities and provide effective incentives and motivation
