Due to the continued growth of our GEMS Founders Masdar City in Abu Dhabi, we are looking to recruit an art teacher for August 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an early career teacher (ECT) to gain valuable international exposure, or for more experienced teachers to take the next step in their career with a global leading company and within a world-class international school located in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

We are British Schools Overseas (BSO) accredited, gaining outstanding judgements in all standards, allowing us to offer the NQT, QTS, and PGCE programmes to our teachers through the TES Institute. Skills

Successful candidates will need to:

• Embody and role model our core values of grow, flourish, and achieve.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in art or a BEd with an associated PGCE in art.
• Have proven experience of teaching in a secondary school.
• Have the ability to share exemplary teaching practices.
• Demonstrate a creative and enthusiastic approach, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with colleagues, students, and parents.
• Have a proven track record of providing outstanding learning and teaching.
• Have the aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career.
• Be willing to make a positive contribution to our school community and culture through active engagement in our extra-curricular programme and community-based events.
