Job description / Role
• Work with project teams to identify opportunities for leveraging the data to drive data analytics solution
• Extract, analyse and mine large data-set from various databases/data-sources to identify data patterns and trends
• Enrich data by structuring cleansing transforming and merging data across different sources
• Design and implement innovative analytical solutions, e.g. advanced statistical techniques
• Provide technical expertise on data analytics/science including scripting, Python and R etc.
• Cross-train within the Data Analytics team and the division to increase data analytics related skill sets and technical capabilities.
Requirements
• Degree in Computer Science, information system or its equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of data analytics experience
• Experience with data analysis, mining, and visualisation technology, including R, Python, Tableau and ETL.
• Experience in common programming or scripting languages such as Visual Basic, C++, Python will add an advantage.
• Able to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions.
• Good team player who is able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
