As an assembler - mechanical, you will be responsible for:

• Working with operations team to achieve organizational goals.
• Assembly and testing of various valves, including but not limited to control valves, safety relief valves, valve positioners, transmitters, valve accessories and other software products.
• Performing pre-testing, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, reassembly and testing of valves at Jebel Ali facilities and following data sheets, pick list/bill of material, schematics and documented procedures in accordance with BH quality and ASME board standards that apply to the job.
• Preparing work orders, test reports, service reports and other quality documents.
• Communicating timely updates to shop planner and quality team to ensure on-time and successful completion of all assigned jobs.
• Working safely and without injury; participating in team meetings and programs as required (audits, safety training, 5S, lifting techniques, troubleshooting, etc.). Reporting workplace HSE concerns or potentially unsafe conditions if any.
• Maintaining the shop tools and equipment to ensure proper working order and arranging for maintenance whenever required.
• Cross-training technicians in the shop. Poses the ability to promote a positive atmosphere and encourage teamwork in the workplace.
• Assigning jobs to technicians, planning consumables and tools requirements, time sheet updates, effective employee utilization, process planning and estimations.
• Willingness to work extra hours and weekends as required to meet delivery commitments and business deadlines.
• Working closely with other stakeholders like quality, engineering, planning, services, customer care and safety coordinator to ensure 100% on-time delivery and compliance with all quality and safety requirements and regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED) with at least 10 years of experience in valve industries.
• Be able to work independently in challenging and demanding environments.
• Have good technical skills, professional attitude and teamwork.
• Have experience in Masoneilan and consolidated products.
• Have a well-rounded knowledge of valve assembly techniques, pressure testing, instrument calibration, standards and shop tools and equipment.
• Have knowledge and experience in industrial valves standards like ASME, API, ANSI, FCI, etc.
• Must have knowledge of quality management system and health and safety environment.

Be ok with the below conditions:

• This position is performed in a workshop environment.
• May be exposed to loud operating equipment, heavy noise, pressure release, dirt, grease, grime, chemicals, heavy lifting, etc.
