Job description / Role
As an Asset Manager, you will oversee the management, governance, and implementation of strategic initiatives of power generation assets. This role involves evaluating asset lifecycles, conducting financial and operational reviews, and implementing key initiatives to enhance performance and value.

Description
* Lead short- and long-term business planning, including strategy, budgeting, and performance measurement.
* Conduct financial modelling and operational analysis to optimize asset performance and returns.
* Ensure compliance with governance, risk management, and corporate policies across all assets.
* Oversee contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder alignment for asset optimization.
* Manage risk registers, performance benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop and present strategic reports, recommendations, and decision-support materials for senior leadership.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams, operating companies, and external stakeholders.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
* Must be a UAE National with a family book.
* 8 - 10 years of experience in asset management within the utilities, energy, infrastructure, construction or other relevant sectors.
* Strong financial and operational analysis skills, including experience with financial modeling.
* In-depth knowledge of asset lifecycles, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills for working with senior leadership, board members, and external partners.
* Ability to navigate complex contractual agreements and lead negotiations effectively.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
