<b>Job Description</b>
The Department of Economics and Finance, College of Business and Economics at the United Arab Emirates University invites applications for a faculty position in Finance starting Spring 2018.
UAEU is the Nation's first, largest and most eminent research intensive university. The College of Business & Economics is AACSB Accredited and is already very highly regarded within the region for the strength of its undergraduate and graduate programs.
The successful candidate must be an active researcher and have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. He/she will be expected to:
- Provide a significant contribution to research, teaching excellence, and service within the Department of Economics and Finance;
- Continue being a dynamic researcher with a research agenda leading to publications in high quality peer-reviewed journals and internally and/or externally funded research programs;
- Teach both undergraduate and graduate courses.
The application package should include a cover letter, a detailed CV with names and contact details, a brief description of current/future research activities, teaching philosophy, and courses taught. English is the language of instruction and communication at the College of Business & Economics.<b>Minimum Qualification</b>
Applicants are required to have earned a Ph.D. in Finance from an accredited and internationally recognized university.<b>Preferred Qualification</b>
