Job description / Role
The purpose of this position is provide support to the Company Secretary in managing the implementation and compliance with Corporate Governance laws and regulations as well as act as the Assistant Company Secretary of eitc's subsidiaries.
Requirements
Minimum experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience with at least 5 years in a similar role in a commercial or governmental organization.
- Regulatory Management experience in a large listed organization will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of the telecommunications industry and the EITC operating environment.
Minimum education:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in financial, legal or business administration
- ICSA qualified
Knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of protocol and procedures relating to the Board
- Familiar with accounting, tax, law, finance and enterprise management
- Familiar with and understand the company stock listing relative issues and stock market affairs
- Proven ability to listen, advice and counsel at senior levels
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and Arabic);
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Good presentation and negotiation skills,
- Good organizational and time management skills,
- High degree of attention to detail
- Discreet and confidential
