On behalf of our client a leading UAE based publishing firm that is based in Dubai we are looking to recruit a Assistant Credit Control Manager. You will be responsible for managing day to day activities of the credit control team (i.e.) team holiday request, sick leave, training and development, act as an escalation process for internal/external clients. Work closely with credit manager to oversee the administration and management of the entire Accounts Receivable function (invoicing). Attend debtor meetings with credit controllers and provide credit manager with an update on risk exposure. Ensuring active management of aged debt to meet collection targets and prevent cancellations by improving early deposit collections. Develop relationships with internal departments and associates. Communicates frequently with sales and executive management on risk and bad debt exposure. Participates in developing and documenting policies, procedures, and internal controls for the AR process. Recommends opportunities for continuous improvement. Produce and manage weekly reports for credit manager. Responsible for managing a portfolio of aged debt accounts. Assist with streamlining the reconciliation process. Manage relationship with external debt agency, track progress and success rate on cases passed over. Can do attitude, with good judgement and balance between delegating and being hands-on. Work on adhoc projects under the guidance of credit manager.

Salary:
AED 22000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification and experience Required:

Is an Accounting background, good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, good written/verbal English skills – with at least 5 years experience as credit control at supervisory/management level.

Job - Specific Skills:

Good interpersonal and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and investigate matters with own initiative
