Assistant Director - Abu Dhabi
Our client is international and globally recognized financial firm and they are looking to recruit an Assistant Director. This position is for engineering professionals (SQS, PM, Commercial Managers) with Business qualifications with financial management experience. The role is responsible for managing clients who are involved in regional construction and real estate projects.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain client relationships to secure continuous workload
- Lead a team of advisors
- Manage the preparation and delivery process of proposals
- Liaise with clients ensuring their expectations are met
- Manage the performance of existing employees and assist in acquiring new staff
- Advise on strategic problem solving methods on industry related issues
- Manage and advise on the business growth
- Assist in managing the organisations functional areas, such as employee development, compliance and business development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field in construction/engineering
- MBA or other business related qualification is advantageous
- Must have RICS/CIOB or equivalent
- 6 years of experience in financial or consulting environment
- Strong knowledge in business development and corporate financial management
- Have in-depth expertise in market analysis, management techniques and industry related issue solution methods
- Previous experience across the GCC within construction or property industries is essential
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to think strategically
- Fluent in English language is essential and Arabic language is desirable
- Must be residing in Abu Dhabi
