Assistant Editor - SME and Customized Solutions (Arabic Speaker)

Job description / Role

Purpose: To assist the editorial department in delivering content for customized solutions and AccelerateSME portals.

Your duty will entail coordinating the delivery of solutions and content on a day to day basis and as business expands and grows.

Being part of a dynamic and active team, you will be required to be able to respond to the business needs in an active and timely manner.

Main Duties:

- Brain storm story ideas and topics of interest for SMEs and Customized solutions.
- Liaise with clients and follow up on comments, feedback and requirements.
- Assign, follow-up and oversee article delivery with freelancers.
- Follow-up with copyeditors to ensure quality of content.
- Revise and proof copies to ensure consistency and quality.
- Coordinate and assign translations and follow up with translators to meet deadlines.
- Assist and coordinate with designers on newsletter designs.
- Deploy and feature articles on special Advertorial page.
- Deploy and feature articles on SME portals.
- Effectively support editorial delivery of content for SME portals.
- Organize and maintain editorial calendars for customized solutions and SMEs.
- Identify and expand freelancers and specialized contributors.
- Writing engaging content on topics of key importance to SME audience based on keyword guidelines.

Requirements

You will need to plan in advance and work in a structured and organized way, so as to ensure the smooth flow of operations.

Creativity and innovation is always highly encouraged.

Fluent Arabic and English is required.
