Overview of the role
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic advisory support to the Emiratization department. The incumbent is expected to promote the company as an employer of choice and consult on best practices. They provide insightful advice to government bodies, centers of excellence, and develop aligned recruitment, training, and engagement strategies. Working with the Divisional Emiratization Leads across all Emiratization initiatives.
What you will do
- Contribute to the strategic development and strategy implementation of plans by being responsible for innovating ways to achieve Emiratization in identifying and implementing them.
- Support the implementation of the Emiratization strategy in accordance with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
- In collaboration with TA teams, manage key relationships with schools and universities to attract and secure the best future talent for Al-Futtaim.
- Ensure continuous improvement of all Emiratization processes and policies where relevant.
- Ensure compliance to HR and Emiratization policy is maintained, review and strengthen business internal controls and procedures. Safeguard that Emiratization focus is maintained and diversification goals are reinforced and achieved.
- Provide Emiratization Head with regular financial reporting of employee costs. Ensure annual manpower budgeting exercise is conducted accurately and efficiently.
- Support line managers in creating a culture of employee engagement based upon ‘Al Futtaim’ values. Always reinforce a culture of meritocracy, performance-focus, and diversity. Act as an advisor to line managers to educate them and minimize risk.
- Influence and manage relationships between Al-Futtaim and external government departments, ministries, organizations, clubs, and associations such as Mohre, MOE etc. Maintain ties to align with Al Futtaim strategies.
- Act as an advisor for Al-Futtaim on all new regulatory matters and provide input to those matters on behalf of Al-Futtaim to the government, ministries, etc.
- Identify important Emiratization events to attend externally and to celebrate internally and represent the group as the key point of contact at each.

What equips you for the role
- Degree from any recognized university or equivalent.
- Minimum experience of 5-7 years managerial experience; HR experience is a plus.
