Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity with a global consumer goods organisation looking out for an Assistant Internal Audit Manager in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will come from a Big 4 and an F&B background with experience in internal audit, risk management and internal controls. The candidate must be able to constantly travel internationally.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage risk driven audit assignments with clear scope and objectives set.
* You will manage the planning, quality control, execution and delivery of audit assignments.
* Prepare summary reports of the audit findings.
* Provide investigation, advisory risk and internal control services when required to do so.
* Provide insight and solutions to stakeholders on existing weaknesses or issues to the business.
* You will be responsible for managing projects related to liaising with various departments on control reviews and adhoc assignments.
* You will need to be updated on business developments within your market.
Requirements
* Must have five plus years of similar experience.
* Must have a thorough knowledge of auditing practices, procedures and principles.
* F&B or FMCG background is preferred along with Big 4 experience.
* Must be a degree holder and accounting/finance certification is a plus.
* Must be flexible to travel internationally.
