Job description / Role
The areas of responsibility under this position include but are not limited to:
• Content Editing
• Product Management
Content Editing
Manages the content of two core products of GHA DISCOVERY: Experiences and Local Offers (i.e. non-stay offers) within the portfolio of GHA DISCOVERY hotels; receives and reviews offer content, checks its alignment with the product’s concept, proofreads, edits the copy, completes the information gaps by communicating with brands/hotels, and publishes the content
Product Management
• Manages the tickets raised by brands/hotels in the GHA ticketing system regarding the two core products of GHA DISCOVERY - Experiences and Local Offers – related inquiries
• Creates regular failed offer reports for member brands to improve the quality of offer submissions
• Produces regular recommendations to brands on how to improve the offer content
• Works with the marketing team to recommend offers and content for targeted campaigns and promotions to achieve sales objectives
• Maintains accurate documentation of product-related processes, policies, and priorities
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field is preferred
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English (please share samples of your work by including either a portfolio of links to your published articles along with your application)
• Requires multi-tasking and prioritisation skills working under time pressure, with continuous attention to detail
• Requires strong interpersonal skills interacting with key stakeholders
• Requires knowledge of working in a multi-cultural environment with international companies, to work with integrity and actively promote ethics and compliance policies across the organisation
• Knowledge of the travel industry is beneficial
