Assistant Manager - DC

Job description / Role

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate inbound and outbound operations.
• Ensure timely order fulfillment for retail stores and online orders.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, conduct stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
• Assist in managing daily shift planning, labour allocation, and task assignments.
• Ensure team compliance with SOPs and productivity targets.
• Analyse operational KPIs.
• Operate and oversee usage of WMS.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance speed and reduce error rates.
• Coordinate with transport/logistics teams for on-time dispatches and delivery tracking.
• Liaise with store teams, vendors, and customer care to resolve order-related issues.
• Support stock transfers between DCs or store locations as per requirements.
