Job description / Role
A leading regional insurance company based in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager (Accountant) to join their Finance team.
This role reports to the Finance Manager and will oversee the daily accounting activities, monitor the accuracy of bookkeeping in ledgers, continuous control of the trial balance, follow up on the completeness of accounting data, assuring deadlines meeting of periodic reporting requirements .
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance
- Accounting qualification - CPA, CMA, CFA is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position with experience working within an Insurance company
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IAS, GAAP, and Financial Reporting
- Computer literate (MS, Excel, Word) with experience in AIS
