Company: Samsung - SDLS

Purpose of the job:
- Supply Chain management and analysis for SEEA stock operation (HHP/DI)
- Responsible for implementing Sales desk with Samsung GERP system

Key Objectives:
- Proper supply chain management and stock operation.

Position responsibilities:
- Management of payment availability, PFI’s quantity and amount, PO confirmation.
- Payment status and checking of discrepancy – TT/LC/OA
- Coordination with the branch offices with regards to PFI amendments/updates/correction.
- Management of billed and confirmed PO’s.
- Cross check updated AP2 according to demand guide and responsible for weekly accumulative and demand report.
- Provision of PO confirmation, SI checklist and DP confirmation and shortage list report.
- Sending POP list, receiving and sending SI checklist.
- Support other branches on demand guideline, follow up on overdues.
- PFI Issuance, management of AR overdues and clients contact list

Requirements

- Masters Degree from a recognized university is an advantage
- Bachelor’s Degree holder
- 3 - 5 years relevant experience in IT/Consumer Electronics industry
- The candidate shall be presentable and possess a professional attitude
- Excellent skills in MS Office Applications(Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- Strong quantitative background with an excellent understanding of the issues and processes required to deliver high quality results.
- Professional Knowledge in Documentary Credits, Bank Guarantees
- Knowledge in Export and Import formalities through Experience
- Understanding in LC negotiation, Reimbursement, Handling Discrepancies etc.
- Understand customer’s payment term base on which shipping document need to be prepared and legalized, In depth knowledge in credit life cycle & local credit management

Competencies:
- Knowledge in Mobile, Export business & Logistics
- Knowledge in Sales System like SAP (But not mandatory)
- Professional Knowledge in Documentary Credits, Bank Guarantees
- Attained knowledge in Export and Import formalities through Experience
- Experienced in Banking Procedures with Skills in LC negotiation, Reimbursement, Handling Discrepancies etc.
- Understand customer’s payment term base on which shipping document need to be prepared and legalized, In depth knowledge in credit life cycle & local credit management
- Problem solving—the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skilfully.
- Oral communication—the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
- Quality management—the individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.

- Safety and security—the individual actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures, and uses equipment and materials properly.

Language Skills:
- Ability to communicate and respond to common inquiries from sales and logistics department, customers, or members of the business community. Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts.

Physical demands and work environment
- Physical Demands: Ability to travel 10% of the time and as required.
- Work environment: Office environment and office branches/subsidiary (Africa).
