Assistant Manager - Store Maintenance

Job description / Role

- Oversee all facilities and project activities, including Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), civil works, Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting (FA & FF) systems, cleaning, CCTV, Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, Public Address (PA) systems, security, and more.

- Demonstrate expertise in AutoCAD drawing preparation and execution.

- Possess extensive knowledge of retail store shop fitting installation, delivery, and planning.

- Understand retail store operations comprehensively.

- Handle high-pressure, high-volume work across different categories.

- Optimize warehouse operations, including space management, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) protocols, and vehicle management.

- Maintain high volumes of inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient distribution.

- Oversee daily supply chain operations and manage fleet teamwork.

- Supervise maintenance teams, including electricians and carpenters, ensuring all tasks are completed within the Turnaround Time (TAT).

- Engage with general contractors, consultants, vendors, and maintenance service providers, managing competitive bidding, negotiations, Statements of Work (SOWs), CPSAs, and project-specific contracts.

- Responsible for the creation and tracking of Operating Expenditures (Opex) and Capital Expenditures (Capex), and monthly budget preparation.

- Monitor, guide, and support service providers and contractors to ensure the provision of high-quality and cost-efficient solutions.

- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to provide insights and align with management targets and guidelines.

- Prepare and evaluate maintenance/project budgets and purchase orders.

- Manage Monthly Maintenance Management Information Systems (MIS).

- Arrange permissions from mall management and police for projects and maintenance activities.
