The sourcing assistant manager is responsible for executing strategic sourcing initiatives for technology products and services to drive cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and category management excellence across group locations. This role focuses on managing vendor relationships, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring compliance with sourcing policies and regulations.

On a day-to-day you will be responsible for:

• Lead the vendor selection and negotiation process (technology)
• Ensure strategies are implemented and reductions secured according to implementation plans
• Develop, implement, and monitor business unit satisfaction
• Drive best practices across all company groups/segments/subsidiaries
• Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws
• Work with the vendor performance management team to monitor existing supplier performance and provide regular reports on the overall performance of supplier portfolio

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree
• Track record in a sourcing organization - 3 to 5 years of strategic sourcing experience
• Technology sourcing experience
• Interest/appetite for technology (IT, telecom, etc.)
• Technical skills: problem-solving and analytical skills, negotiation skills, clear understanding of S2C cycle and drivers of cost savings/efficiency in sourcing
• Proficiency in key tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and experience with e-sourcing tools is desirable
• Project management, negotiation skills, organized and detail-oriented, quick learner
• Comfortable working with numbers
