Job description / Role
We are looking for a finance professional to manage loan portfolio of our Group.
Essential Functions:
• Maintain close relationship with banks and financial institutions
• Assist management in negotiation of new loans or restructuring of existing facilities
• Manage all communication with banks/financial institutions and follow up to resolve all the queries
• Prepare all loan requests and documents for loan processing
• Preparation of cash flow projections based on existing and planned resources
• Review all loan agreements and advise management
• Analyze various available loan/funding options and advise management on best suitable option
• Build financial models to evaluate various financial plans
• Ensure compliance to all requirements related to obtaining new loans, roll-over or restructuring of loans.
• Liaison with consultants, third parties and in-house teams for preparation of feasibility studies for various business opportunities
• Ensure all covenants/CPs are fulfilled as per loan agreements
• Evaluate long-term borrowing strategies and make recommendations
• Constantly monitor that interest and other fee/charges are charged as per loan agreements
Requirements
Required Education & Experience:
• Degree in Accounting/Finance
• 3-5 years’ experience in managing loan portfolio of commercial organization
• Experience in building financial models to evaluate various financial plans.
• Experience in presenting and preparing proposals
Required Skills, Knowledge & Competencies:
• Knowledge of loan portfolio strategy, banking, and financial instruments.
• General knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced spreadsheet and modeling skills.
• Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills.
