Assistant Night Manager / Duty Manager

Reporting to the Assistant Front Office Manager, the Duty Manager oversees the daily operations, ensuring that the highest levels of hospitality and service are provided. Represents the property in resolving any guest related situation. Manages the flow of questions and directs guests within the lobby. Shows your leadership and interpersonal strengths to maximize the Rooms Operations, and ensure an exceptional guest journey.

What you will be doing:

- Lead and manage all aspects of the shift and ensure all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
- Ensure correct communication between Front Office and other hotel departments
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Assist Front Office management in the training and development of the team
- Assist Front Office management in reaching key KPI index such as guest satisfaction, upselling results, loyalty program recruitment and guest personalisation

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required
- Prior experience working with Opera system
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
