Job description / Role
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Assistant Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. Assistant Nurse is responsible for managing the individualized patient care by promoting and restoring patients' Oral health through the nursing process, collaborating with the Dentist and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families; and supervising assigned team members. Making sure about sterilization of instruments on time and other required supply is available before starting procedure.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of patient for dental examination.
• Taking initial history, especially dental history, infection, communicable disease.
• If required assess vital sign including Random blood sugar and fasting blood sugar.
• Make sure consent has been sign.
• Assisting dentist during oral examination.
• Arranging dental instruments, Materials, and medications for dentist.
• Assisting dentist during procedure.
• Documenting all record related to patient
• Assisting patient during X-Ray procedure.
• Taking photos intra oral and extra oral.
• Post procedures education and care.
• Mixing and preparing materials for filling.
• Assuring patient during procedure.
• Reassuring patient condition after procedure.
• Ready for FIRST AID if any emergency happens during procedure.
• Resolving patient problems by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategy.
• Maintaining safe and clean environment by complying with procedure rules and regulation.
• Protecting patient and employees by adhering infection control policy.
• Comply with dental guidelines and protocols.
• Preparing tooth impressions and dental molds.
• In case of implant or surgery check list of instruments and remind the doctor for double check of medical history will be done.
• Training and use of equipment’s.
• Comply with MOHAP PQR.
• Comply with MAC policies.
• Management infection control in charge.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid MOH or DHA license.
• Relevant two-year experience for home country.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
Salary:
AED
5,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
