Job description / Role
We have partnered with a leading real estate development company as they are looking for an Assistant Manager of Procurement to join their Interior Design team in Dubai, UAE. This a permanent and long-term opportunity to support the delivery of a number of high profile and luxury projects in the Middle East.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage procurement of works for various interior design projects
- Prepares reports and maintains logs on projects related with procurement of all furniture, fixture and equipment
- Regular travel to China, US, Turkey & Europe to meet with suppliers & clients
- Directs all activities related to the bid process, state requirements for quotes and processing of purchase orders
- Negotiating with bidders and prepare RFA for approval
- Co-ordination with technical team, project management, consultants & contracts department
Requirements
- To be considered for the opportunity, candidates must be degree educated preferably within Interior Design with 10+ years of experience within the procurement of FF&E.
- Candidates can have experience working with real estate developer, fit-out contractor or interior design organisations.
