Job description / Role
A fantastic opportunity for a strong MRO Procurement Manager to take complete responsibility and ownership for Maintenance, Repair & Operations procurement within a large manufacturing company in Abu Dhabi.
This is a key position within the organisation to drive change, seek opportunities and create strategic value within the MRO, engineering spare parts, components and materials category.
You will be responsible for delivering new strategic category direction and significant contribution towards the entire procurement function.
This position requires a Category Manager / Senior Buyer or Procurement Manager with proven performance of delivering cost reduction, category benefits and tangible financial benefits.

Requirements
- Developing supplier performance and relationships
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven strategic category management experience within engineering spare parts, components, MRO
- Highly developed analytical and financial capabilities
- Good proportion of gravitas and tenacity
- Commercial negotiation skills
- Expert knowledge of procurement processes and tools
- Relevant university degree
- Fluent in English
- Experience within engineering or relevant qualification is a benefit
