Assistant Product & Marketing Manager - Gaming Products - Microsoft Xbox - Al Futtaim Electronics - Dubai

An exciting opportunity is opened for an experienced Assistant Product and Marketing Manager within Al Futtaim Electronics. You will be responsible for product and trade marketing for Microsoft Xbox business. You will manage the trade marketing - creation of stands, displays etc. at retail shop floors. Event management - end to end management and participation of gaming contest, gaming events like Respawn, games etc.

Community Management - creation of Xbox gaming community in coordination with the vendor. Product packaging - creation of packaging for bundle, stickers, sleeves etc. and logistic coordination with warehouse. After sales management - cross checking all defectives and managing return of all defectives as per Microsoft policies. Games forecast and projections - for new launches and backcatalouges. Retail visibility for Xbox business - ensuring aggressive visibility of Xbox consoles, accessories, games and live at retail shop floor. Activity based cost simulations and approvals from Vendor and securing pay-outs for the same. SAP documentation for after sales. SAP marketing purchase orders and invoice payments

Your role will be based in Dubai. You will report into the Category Manager.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting role, you need to have an degree specialized in Marketing/ Advertising and Research. You should have minimum 4+years experience in the gaming industry. Experience in trade marketing and visual merchandising. Prior experience in negotiating space contracts in U.A.E. retail. Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an asset.

Along with previous experience you must have a strong work ethic, competitive drive and entrepreneurial spirit. Excellent presentation, interpersonal, communication skills. Good business acumen. Ability to create cost simulations (Modular and Macro). Understanding of trade marketing aspects like creation and deployment of stands, stickers etc. Analytical skills like gap analysis etc. Understanding of gaming community management and development of the same. Deep understanding of social media. Aggressive negotiator to drive space contracts. Knowledge on consoles games success/failure history is must. Preferably an avid gamer.

To be a successful in this role, you must be commercially aware and knowledgeable of the industry and have the ability to thrive in a high-paced environment amidst frequent change. You will have a high level of market awareness.
