Job description / Role
Assistant Professor in Economics Up To 25k Aed+ for a Leading University in Sharjah
• Ph.D. in Economics (with equivalency report status)
• Minimum 6-10 years of teaching experience in the same field
• Must have academic background in the field of Economics with combination of teaching & industry experience in the field of specialization
• Experience in teaching courses like: Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, etc.
• Strong record of Research and Publications (Mainly in Scopus, ABDC, Tomson Router, Emerald Insight, etc.)
• Experience of developing course materials and teaching resources
• Ability to develop rapport with students in a variety of learning contexts
• Extensive experience of working with diverse range of students
• Can work independently and as a part of a team
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Willing to work in split shift

• POSITION: Assistant Professor in Economics
• SALARY: up to 25,000 AED depending on qualifications and experience plus accommodation and furniture allowance, transportation, air ticket and other benefits
• HIRING COMPANY: Premier university in Sharjah established since 1990
• LOCATION: Sharjah, UAE
• START DATE: August 2020
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full Time - Four Years Contract (Renewable)
