Assistant to Plant Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Plant Reporting & Auditing Assistant to oversee and document the progress of installation and commissioning of machineries, ensuring structured daily and weekly reports. Once the factory is operational, the individual will be responsible for production reporting and developing data-driven reporting tools in Oracle NetSuite and Excel.

The ideal candidate will also be responsible for conducting internal audits of the production area with the support of Plant Manager, ensuring adherence to 5S, FIFO, HSE standards, and other manufacturing principles.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning Reporting:
• Record all installation and commissioning progress.
• Prepare structured daily and weekly reports for management.
• Manufacturing SOP development with support of Plant Manager for all manufacturing departments.

Production Reporting & Data Management:
• Monitor and prepare daily production reports once the factory is operational.
• Develop production reporting tool kits in Oracle Net Suite and Excel, customized to plant requirements.

Internal Auditing & Compliance:
• Conduct internal audits on production processes.
• Ensure 5S implementation and monitor FIFO execution in the warehouse.
• Conduct daily HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) checks across the factory and ensure about the proper implementation.
• Prepare daily compliance reports for each sector.

Process Improvement & Data-Driven Decision Making:
• Prepare the infrastructure to implement Kaizen principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through forecasting, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills for forecasting & process optimization.
• ERP & Excel Mastery: Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite, Excel, and data visualization tools.
• Manufacturing Principles: Strong knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys, and similar methodologies.
• Technology-Friendly: Comfortable using digital reporting tools, ERP systems, and automation.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
