Assistant Vice President – Exhibitions (Tech Cluster)

Charterhouse is working with a leading exhibitions organisation who is looking to hire an Assistant Vice President – Exhibitions (Tech Cluster) to join their team in Dubai. This is a great opportunity to contribute to some of the biggest events across tech globally.

This role will be responsible for Business Development/Commercial Management where you will be required to build and develop relationships with the team, existing clients & new clients.

As an AVP, you will be in charge of Operations Management, leading and managing marketing budgets as well as supervising work planning and resourcing of any operational affairs.

Additionally, you will be involved in governance, process and organisational management. You will play a crucial role in handling statutory compliance of the exhibitions department. In conjunction, you will be actively engaged in creating new business strategies and will also oversee the team performance of Senior Directors and Managers as well as manage the expectations.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) is preferred, or equivalent qualification in related field. You must have previously led teams and helped deliver events within the ICT space. Our client is looking for someone who is results-driven with entrepreneurial drive. Knowledge of design, production and information technology is essential for this position.

The ideal candidate will have a good attitude, as this role will be required to interact with top management and clients on a regular basis. You will be working within a cross functional team and must have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, Arabic speaking is advantageous.
