Our newest opportunity is for a talented Associate to join our award-winning team based in Saudi Arabia. This position is responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the contract documents are implemented and maintained throughout the contract period and to assist in the review of contractual notices of claims.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Demonstrating experience and capability in a wide range of Consultant Agreements and Construction Contracts.
- Demonstrating experience in complex projects from design through construction documents and implementation, including alternative forms of procurement.
- Understanding, identifying and assessing project and contract risks.
- Preparing and managing project contracts (this can include
- Drafting, analysing, negotiating and agreeing contracts).
- Serving as a single point of contact during contract negotiations.
- Managing record-keeping of communication, documentation and contracts.
- Obtaining input from internal subject matter experts regarding pricing, commercial requirements and constraints, and delivery time-lines.
- Providing updates to internal stakeholders (predominantly to the Client Team)
- Acting as a point of escalation during the life of the contract.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include a minimum of 15 years of broad-based engineering experience partnered with a BSc in Civil Engineering or other technical discipline is essential whilst a Masters in Construction Law, LLB or similar is preferred.
- Bilingual communication skills in both English and Arabic are desirable but not mandatory for this role.
