Job description / Role
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff are looking for someone to lead design and coordination audits on all of our building services designs through the various stages of concept, schematic, detailed and construction issues in Dubai.
The principal duties in this role will be to;
- review the quality of the work completed by the building services team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
- ensure that the building services design project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
- ensure that you maintain and develop a growing relationship with the client based on excellent operational delivery
- work closely with internal and external clients to set priorities
This position is of strategic importance as having a coordinated approach to design work and reviewing designs mean that design errors are kept to a minimum saving project costs through reduced redesigns, reduced project delays, increased client satisfaction and ultimately better project profitability.
Requirements
- All Building Services designs are reviewed at each stage throughout the design process to ensure that they comply with the relevant codes and project specifications
- The various building services design teams are working together in a fully coordinated manner
- All designs leave the office error free
We would like to speak with positive, people focused individuals who are proactive and results-driven, and have excellent communication skills. You’ll be a Chartered / Professional Engineer and a member of Professional Institution who holds a degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Ideally you will also have 20+ years of relevant experience within building services design and have worked for both consultants and contractors.
