Associate Director of Structures

Job description / Role

An exciting opportunity exists within an International Consultancy to join their team immediately as an Associate Director of Structures in Dubai. Reporting to the Technical Director, the individual will have an integral role in carrying the project through from the concept design stage, through to completion.

The individual will be expected to:
• Mentor and train a team of Engineers
• Delegate tasks across the team to ensure all elements of the project are completed in line with the project deadlines and budget
• Communicate efficiently with the Client
• Prepare proposals and tenders
• Contribute to the leadership and operational performance of the division
• Ensure the project is operating within budget

Requirements

• The successful candidate will have a degree in Structural Engineering or other relevant discipline.
• Ideally be chartered, with 12+ years’ experience in managing projects and overseeing structural design on large scale complex building's projects.
