Associate Landscape Architect

My client a leading Design Consultancy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Landscape Architect to join their dynamic team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of landscape architecture projects, from initial concept development to project completion. This role requires strong leadership, design excellence, and a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Proposals:
* Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and contribute to business development initiatives to support team growth.

Conceptual Design & Leadership:
* Develop innovative and inspiring landscape design concepts for a wide range of project types and scales.
* Provide design leadership and guidance to junior team members.

Technical Expertise:
* Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and a creative approach to problem-solving.
* Stay abreast of contemporary design trends, identifying and incorporating international best practices and benchmarks.

Project Management:
* Manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Proactively manage client expectations and build strong client relationships.

Client Liaison:
* Attend client meetings, present design concepts, and address client concerns effectively.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Technical Compliance:
* Ensure project delivery complies with all relevant local regulations and authorities' requirements.
* Financial Control:
* Monitor project budgets, track performance, and report on project progress to management.

Team Leadership:
* Mentor, guide, and challenge junior team members to foster a creative and enthusiastic work environment.
* Lead and manage project teams effectively.

Quality Assurance:
* Implement and adhere to the company's quality management system for all project work.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture.
* Minimum 7+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture.
* Proven experience in managing and delivering complex landscape architecture projects.
* Strong conceptual design skills with a demonstrated ability to create innovative and inspiring solutions.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit).
* Strong understanding of local regulations and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working on high-profile projects in the Middle East region.
* Professional registration with a relevant professional body.
* Experience in business development and client relationship management.
