Job description / Role

• Processing all centralised Central Cash Operations, Recon Hub Team and IPO functions within the department in line with the bank policy and procedures and within the agreed SLA.
• Efficient in processing UAE Central Bank Cash Requisition (Deposit / Withdrawal) in UAE Central Bank Funds Transfer System.
• Efficient in receiving and upload files (Corporate Customer, ATM Residual, ATM Test Cash and ATM BNA Deposit) from OCSS.
• Efficient Verification of Corporate Customer Vouchers
• Monitor and ensure ATMs are replenished on time by Outsourced Cash Service Supplier (OCSS) and the TATs are within the acceptable / set parameters.
• Receive, verify and update ATM Tally Roll in archiving System.
• Ensure that all the ATMs are balanced and reconciled within agreed SLA with OCSS and cross check that the replenished amounts are as per the advised schedule and within the advised limit and cash is balanced with the respective General Ledgers Accounts. Promptly follow up any discrepancies.
• Identify and investigate transactions that could be responsible for cash difference and provide details to initiate entries.
• Monitor the ATM Incident Management Report to ensure prompt closure of incidents or escalation to relevant owners.
• Efficient Printing and dispatching of Touch Points Vouchers
• Efficiently effect Touchpoints Merchant Payment as per agreed SLA
• Daily processing of accruals, manual file uploads and redemption, reconciling the GLs and maintaining MIS
• Effective in answering all types of Touchpoints queries and complaints.
• Efficient Printing and Dispatch of cheques & Dividend Warrants within the agreed TAT.
• Efficient Corporate IB Token Assignment.
• To assist the team leader in migration new / existing accounts into the Reconciliation platform.
• Reconcile all accounts efficiently in a timely manner.
• Ensure the Recon Hub’s productivity standards are consistently maintained with a minimum accuracy rate of 99.5%.
• Perform preliminary investigation of outstanding entries in a timely manner.
• Liaise closely with the operating units for resolution of open entries.
• Analyze accounts and identify opportunities for recon automation.
• To effectively escalate and resolve open entries.
• To produce all periodical MI and dashboards of the unit.
• Efficient in all types of IPO Application and Document Verification.
• Efficient in IPO System Data Entry functions
• Efficient in processed IPO application batching, sorting and dispatch to lead receiving bank.
• Efficient Management of Daily MIS.
• Efficient processing of all IPO related transactions ensuring same day reconciliation and balancing of all IPO accounts with zero errors.
• Efficient management of all interest payable on subscription funds as per Receiving Bank Agreement
• Efficient processing of refund & allocation file.
• Efficient Management of all IPO related MIS
• Efficient coordination and recruitment of temporary staff during the IPO
• Efficient Management of temporary staff during the IPO
• Efficient Management of IPO Queries & Co
• Monitor and ensure ATMs are replenished on time by Outsourced Cash Service Supplier (OCSS) and the TATs are within the acceptable / set parameters.

• The cards captured in ADCB ATMs to be handled as per the process laid out by the Bank.
• Ensure that all the ATMs are balanced and reconciled within agreed SLA with OCSS and cross check that the replenished amounts are as per the advised schedule and within the advised limit and cash is balanced with the respective General Ledgers Accounts. Promptly follow up any discrepancies.
• Identify and investigate transactions that could be responsible for cash difference and provide details to initiate entries.
• Reconcile the relevant suspense / subsidiary accounts against the respective ATM/CDM GLs and ensure compliance to laid down policies and guidelines.
• Participation in on-going projects relating to unit
• Monitor weekly errors / re-works relating unit processing
• Ensure data gathering relating to unit.
• Identify possible system & process enhancement.
• Full awareness and adherence of bank policies, procedure, memos & circulars related to the given functions.
• Full awareness and adherence to the operating system have access to perform daily tasks and responsibilities.

Supervisory task
• Efficient work flow management, assigning tasks to the team, performance monitoring, improving processes, identify risks and built the control.
• Identify staff training needs and develop internal training.
• Weekly/Monthly/Yearly MIS & KPI reporting.
• Monitoring the risk within the unit and report any such.
• Maintain accurate productivity MIS using the systems/tools available.
• Develop resources plan on a regular basis(weekly , monthly & yearly)
• Monitor unit productivity on a daily basis and take corrective actions to improve both individual and unit productivity.
• Develop multi task environment within the unit members.
• Maintain weekly productivity meeting with the unit team member
• Monitor and take corrective actions to the unit productivities

Reconciliation
• Reconcile the relevant suspense / subsidiary accounts against the respective GLs and ensure compliance to laid down policies and guidelines.
• Reconcile all the unit’s on-line accounts daily and ensure action is taken on outstanding items by respective branches / Departments.

Other task
• Respond to branch & customers inquiries regarding
• IPO information allocation & rejected applications.
• Touchpoints
• Cash and ATM related queries and complains
• Account Reconciliation
• Help and guide calls relating to customer complaints
• Ensure that all customer complaints calls are logged and are assigned to the correct person to handle the complaint
• Maintain follow-up of case until it is solved
• Any other duties which may be assigned by Management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Mandatory – Operation and service banking experience Min.1 years
• Experiences to include:
• Knowledge of nostro / suspense / internal account reconciliations
• Knowledge of reconciliation systems.

Other requirements for the role:
• Good Team Player
• Knowledge of UAE payment & recon mechanisms would be an added advantage.
