Job Description
The Department of Cognitive Science, United Arab Emirates University, announces a position at the Associate Professor level to begin 1st August 2021. The position will be of interest to those with expertise in the following areas: Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Statistical Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Social Psychology, Neuropsychology, Experimental Psychology, Personality Psychology, Culturally Sensitive Therapy, Cultural Sensitivity in Clinical Psychology, Psychopathology, Early Childhood Development, Intellectual Assessment, Advanced Quantitative/ Qualitative expertise, Arab Psychology.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
Qualified candidates will have a doctoral degree in psychology, or equivalent, from an APA approved program and will have completed post-doctoral training

Preferred Qualification
Duties involve teaching, conducting research, advising students and serving on dissertation committees. All teaching is delivered in English. Therefore, native or near-native English is required.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
The position requires research and scholarly productivity, and a commitment to teaching/training excellence at university level.
