Associate Project and Export Finance

Job description / Role

Main responsibilities:

* Financial modelling
* Preparation and presentation of Business Credit Applications and information memoranda, under the supervision of senior transactors
* Carry out due diligence under the supervision of senior transactors.
* Assist in structuring transactions
* Collect, review and analyse financial and other information from multiple sources
* Contribute to the sourcing of new ideas

People and Talent:

* Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.

Risk Management:

* Ensure compliance with country-level Portfolio Standards, Underwriting Standards, PPGs
* Identify any key risks and escalate to line manager or to other stakeholders, where appropriate

Governance:

* Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
* Take individual responsibility to ensure risk-taking is disciplined and focused

Requirements

Qualifications:

* The ideal candidate will have experience working in Corporate Finance, ideally with exposure to Project and Export finance deals.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
* It would be highly desirable to be CFA qualified.
