Associate Team Leader - LAN and Network Security

Job Purpose

- The purpose of this role is to ensure Dubai Airports Local Area Network (LAN) and Network Security infrastructure and services are designed, maintained and operated in compliance with Business Technology strategy to support the operational needs and business growth for all internal and external stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for designing the network, managing and maintaining smooth operation and business continuity of assigned areas of Dubai Airports LAN & Network security infrastructure and services on a 24x7 basis.
- Job holder will ensure disaster recovery and business continuity solutions are in place. They will also be responsible for testing, validating, auditing and supervising the handover activities of network and security infrastructure solutions. They will also provide solutions and expertise to the Project and Program Management teams to support the delivery of relevant projects.

Requirements

Qualifications and Education
- The job holder should be a minimum of Bachelor's Degree/Diploma holder
- Preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology with specialized trainings in advanced Networking technologies.
- Certifications in Cisco, Juniper networking and ITIL framework would be preferable.

Experience
- The job holder should have 3 to 5 years' experience of managing large scale complex technology of Carrier grade service provider network and security infrastructure and systems in process driven, customer centric industries and enterprise environment.
- In depth knowledge and experience on large scale MPLS (service provider & carrier grade) network infrastructure, Multicast VPN (VPN), inter-AS VPN communication, VPLS technologies, Data centre network technologies including Application Centric Infrastructure and Data centre network fabric.
- Experience on Airport systems such as BHS, BMS, SACS, AFL and airline operation and Airport engineering service systems such as LCMS, ECBS, PMS, CCTV etc. is also preferred.
- You should also have experience and knowledge about Operating and troubleshooting large scale TCP/IP networks including Layers 2 & 3 switch configuration and administration, hands on routing and switching experience
Knowledge
- Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Capability to supervise the execution of tactical plans based on given objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality results.
- Working knowledge of large scale Networks and Security Operations & Maintenance.
- Working knowledge of the Airport business operations
- ITIL best practice methodology, service support & service delivery
