Audit and Accounts Preparation Supervisor

Our client is an independent accounting firm providing audit, accounts preparation, tax, and advisory services to a diverse range of small businesses. They are looking for an Audit & Accounts Preparation Supervisor to join their team and play a key role in delivering high-quality services.

Role Overview:
This is a hands-on role overseeing audit assignments, accounts preparation, and tax compliance. The successful candidate will supervise junior staff, ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations, and maintain strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage audit assignments for SMEs and owner-managed businesses.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under IFRS
• Oversee VAT and corporate tax compliance, ensuring accurate filings.
• Supervise and review the work of junior team members, providing guidance and technical support.
• Liaise with clients, addressing queries and providing proactive advice.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting, audit, and tax regulations.
• Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to business development.

• ACA/ACCA qualified with at least 3-5 years’ experience in an accounting practice.
• Strong audit, financial reporting, VAT, and corporate tax knowledge.
• Experience supervising and reviewing the work of junior staff.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
