Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Role Purpose

Working with the Talent Development Team, the Audit Learning Manager is responsible for the creation and deployment of a technical and soft skill learning curriculum that is agile and responsive to the business needs. The role will have a dual reporting line in to the Talent Development Leader and Regional Assurance Learning Leader.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnering and Learning Deployment

• Ensure full understanding of the Audit business and the Service Line Learning curriculum
• Build trusted relationships with the MENA Assurance leadership and Assurance Learning Sponsor to understand business priorities and impact on the learning agenda, including learning needs assessment
• Represent the Region on Areas and Global learning networks and calls
• Ensure full deployment of the SL technical learning curriculum in collaboration with local HR Enablement
• Collaborate with the XSL Learning Leader to ensure all non-technical training is deployed across the Region
• Continuously review the facilitator and program effectiveness to ensure we are meeting business needs

Requirements

Learning Operations

• Focus on offshoring routine tasks that can be conducted by the GDS learning team to ensure the learning coordinator role adds value to the Assurance learning team and operates at optimal efficiency
• To coordinate with GDS Kerala learning leader/executive to ensure MENA learning curriculum is deployed effectively within the agreed timelines and also to review the effectiveness of the facilitators
• Proactively look for new ways to bring about efficiency as the learning agenda grows and evolves
• Ensure robust reporting on user / course consumption and a full gap analysis to understand where the Global and EMEIA learning solutions are not meeting the needs of the Region
• Ensure full familiarization and compliance with the MENA learning policy and procedures document including the MENA expense and procurement protocols
• Create and monitor the Assurance learning budget in collaboration with the FAAS Learning Leader
• Full understanding of the BRET process to be able to guide and manage the learning coordinator pool on procurement processes

Teaming and People Management

• Manage the Assurance Learning Coordinators to ensure end to end set-up and deployment plan for Audit learning, including learning budgets and learning calendar
• Build strong relationships with the Talent Development Management Team to ensure full understanding of all of the Talent Development offerings and effective cross function collaboration
• Support the development of the more junior members of the wider Talent Development team through active participation in counselor connect groups and acting as a coach and role model.
• Leading, managing or contributing to other Talent Development projects where relevant

Skills

• Strong understanding of the Audit practice (experience of working with in Audit would be highly beneficial)
• High program management skills and the ability to flex to changing demands and align learning accordingly
• Interpersonal skills – Able to build trust, communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and develop internal/external networks
• Driven to produce results and continuous improvement and innovation in a fast changing environment
• Excellent project management skills; well-organized professional with the ability to prioritize multiple issues and work effectively with senior business stakeholders
• Global mindset – Sensitive to cultural differences. Able to work in a multicultural and diverse environment and flex style as appropriate
