Authority Liaison Architect

Job description / Role

We are seeking for a highly disciplined and experienced Authority Liaison Architect to work on our projects in Dubai, UAE.

Brief Job Description:
He/She will be, ideally, an architect, who will liaise with different local authorities such as DM, TECOM, RTA, DCD, and other authorities where required, who will prepare and obtain NOC's and building permits for projects, coordinate with colleagues to prepare drawings and apply changes to drawings up to regulations and comments required/made by authorities engineers, Who will follow-up projects with major developers, who has experience in the line of liaising with authorities both in Dubai and Abu-Dhabi, who will attend meetings, and prepare reports and trackers of the woks progress.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reviewing, Preparing the NOC's and submissions applications, for the designs, and coordinating with other departments' NOC's relevant to the approvals.
• Preparing the reports of the status of approvals, procedures and requirements relevant to the issuance of approvals, NOC's and buildings permits
• Follow-up and coordination the applications, designs whether in main office or online.
• Solving and handling comments, providing the technical opinion and advice as per our experiences
• Providing all procedures, regulations, technical and applications forms, in addition to spreading awareness and culture of building the community
• Conducting procedures and flow chart relevant to the permits submissions, spreading and circulating their contents to the concerned departments
• Announcement of circulars, regulations, seminars, educational programs for employees, designers and those benefiting from the Department's services for the purpose of upgrading the technical level in cooperation with the concerned departments
• Providing comprehensive databases for the NOC's, approvals, installations and their statuses, and updating the same directly on the spot
• Enforcing all systems and criterion's, development and improving the work in the Department

Requirements

• Architectural Degree
• Computers (AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft office)
• Must have an Experience of 5-10 years.
• Must have extensive experience in Buildings and Infrastructures
• Reports Preparing to the line manager.
• To have a presentable.
• To have a unquenchable enthusiasm and client facing.
• To have an effective negotiation and presentations.
• To have a deep understanding of the local culture of the country.
• To have a meeting deadlines and following through commitments.
