Job description / Role
Well regarded and secure International Architecture and Engineering practice in Dubai have a solid track record of design and delivery of a range of projects in the region over the last 30 years.
Their success over the 30 years is a result of the well structured, ISO 9001 accredited operation is due to largely the talent they have secured.
Now they invite a Municipality Liaison Technical professional to join their Dubai based team.
This individual will be responsible for liaising with government entities and authorities, communicating regarding projects and approvals, feeding information back to the Design team, with an understanding of the technical details of these major build projects.
This professional will be involved with various regions municipalities, however will be mainly dealing with Dubai and Abu Dhabi authorities.
Meetings will be followed up with report writing to HQ Design team to ensure that the guidelines and Building code criteria are relayed into Design and documentation.
Requirements
This professional will be living in the UAE already and have been working in a similar role with a reputable design/architecture/engineering consultancy.
With 5-10 years post graduation of either Architecture/Civil Engineering, this individual will have a strong technical knowledge, expert knowledge of UAE building codes, and have significant liaison experience with UAE municipalities.
Track record in gaining approvals and a professional demeanour is required.
This person will be travelling from the Dubai head office, to Dubai based Municipal offices and Abu Dhabi Municipal offices, so Driving Licence is required.
Excellent English skills required, written and oral. Arabic communication, written and oral is advantageous.
